Star Case Manufacturing Limited Lifetime Warranty - 2021

Star Case Mfg. Co., LLC guarantees our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for life, to the original purchaser.  Subject to photographic and documentary proof, we will repair, or at our discretion, replace any product that is found to be defective in construction or materials.

 

Exceptions

Star Case Manufacturing is not responsible for any damage arising out of normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, accident, tampering, abrasion, or exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity. Many of our case designs involve the use of various high-quality foam products. Replacement of deteriorated foam is not covered by our warranty. Even the highest quality foam naturally tends to deteriorate over long periods of time, and this process can be accelerated by exposure to temperature extremes and humidity, so this is not considered a defect in manufacturing. We do however offer the service of replacing age-deteriorated foam at a reasonable cost.

 

Shipping Damage

Star Case Manufacturing does not cover damage upon initial delivery caused by the freight company’s mishandling. Should the freight company damage your product, a claim should be filed immediately with the carrier. Most carriers do offer insurance against loss or damage. We are happy to provide cost information on a replacement, repairs and parts when filing the claim. We recommend that you inspect your product as soon as it is delivered in order to file a claim. Purchaser will have 7-10 days after receiving said product to notify us of any damage or defect.

 

Product out of warranty

If your case is outside the terms and conditions of this warranty contact us at star@starcase.com attach photos with a detailed description of the issue and we will let you know what we can do for you.

We get it… filing a warranty claim is not fun…

But we’ll do our best to make it less of a headache for you. If you have a claim, please contact your customer service representative. You will need a copy of your proof of purchase, and the serial number from the ID tag that you’ll find on every Star Case. Also, please be sure to take detailed photos of the defect. You don’t have to be a professional; a clear image is what we are looking for. All shipping, packaging, and insurance costs related to servicing a warranty claim are the purchaser’s responsibility. Star Case Manufacturing agrees to assume responsibility for parts and labor.
